As a child I watched the documentaries about Jaques Cousteau and he built my love for marine life. To me he was definitely a hero in his field.
Jacques Yves Cousteau, French oceanographer born in Saint André de Cubzac in 1910, was a French marine official and exploratory, he has made but the significant contributions to science oceanography. Following the graduation of the naval academy of Brest, France, it entered the French Navy like naval officer. In 1936 Cousteau it began the studies of the medioambiente of the ocean and found the group of investigations submariner of the French Navy. He is the father of the diving since lung or tank invented aqua tribottle for acuatica immersion, or the diving equipment that development with Emil Gagnon; also he is one of the precursors of the photography and submarine shootings.
There are many stellar people in this world, some still with us, some not, who have made a valuable contribution to our world.
